Stump grinding: allows to grind the stump a tree below grade.  We can access your backyards as long as you have a 34inch gate.

Deep Root fertilizing:  Urban soils are not naturally replenished and are very poor.  Woody plants need our help to handle all the stress an urban environment provides. 

Root collar excavations:  The root crown or root collar is the most sensitive point on a tree.  Unfortunately it is often ignored and buried in mulch,  fill or ground cover plants like Jasmin.  This causes stem girdling roots as well as greatly increase the risk of a fungal infection (rot) on the root crown and stem.  Excavations are usually done with airspade© to avoid damage to woody tissue.

Compaction remediation: when soils see a lot of traffic, pedestrian or mechanical, they lose their potential to percolate water and air.  See the compaction remediation we performed at Zilker Park in Austin.

Pest and Disease control including oak wilt treatments: prevention, in our book, is the best disease and pest control.  We favor organic or low impact methods when available but we understand that sometimes the use of modern chemicals can be very useful.  We follow the principles of Integrated Pest management as recommended by the EPA and common sense.  Take advantage of our annual programs custom tailored to your property.  No one size fits all here.
